Job Title: CNC Operator

Location: Anaheim, CA

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 annually (DOE)

Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Lead CNC Operator to join a growing team in Anaheim, CA. The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of hands-on CNC experience. This position will oversee daily CNC operations, provide mentorship to operators, and help ensure that production goals and quality standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, program, and operate CNC lathes, mills, and machining centers with minimal supervision.
• Lead and coordinate the daily activities of CNC operators and machinists.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet dimensional and quality requirements using measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.).
• Provide guidance and training to junior operators on proper techniques and safety practices.
• Monitor production schedules and workflow to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot machine and tooling issues and perform basic preventative maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of production, maintenance, and inspection data.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Experience training junior team members
• Proficient in programming and setup of CNC machinery.
• Familiarity with ERP systems
• Ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and materials (metals, alloys, etc.).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
