APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Detroit, MI looking to add an Operations Director to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to oversee manufacturing and procurement to ensure products are made and delivered efficiently. Keep reading for more details!

What your day will look like:

• Oversee all manufacturing and procurement operations, ensuring raw materials are sourced on time and procurement protocols are continuously optimized.
• Manage production staff and daily operations while collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and R&D to scale new products and deliver seamless product launches.
• Establish and monitor process controls, production workflows, and schedules to meet quality and efficiency standards.
• Source and onboard new vendors, procure production-related equipment, and build strong vendor relationships to secure priority support.
• Lead facilities expansion projects, including on-site setup/maintenance and future out-of-state facility development (travel required).
• Implement and maintain software systems for demand planning, inventory, and operational tracking, including ERP (NetSuite).
• Develop scalable systems, protocols, and teams to support growth, working closely with the CEO to shape the future of operations.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelors Degree in related field
• 5+ years in logistics and operations management, in beverage or alcohol manufacturing.
• Skilled at creating strategies and leading teams to execute them.
• Strong project management and attention to detail.
• Experienced in working with vendors to get results.
• Able to collaborate across teams to bring ideas from concept to completion.
