Founder & CEO: Agentic systems startup (stealth)

Full-time / Greater Seattle Area / Hybrid

Madrona Venture Labs is incubating a startup that helps builders create effective, efficient, and dynamic agentic systems. We seek a technology-fluent leader with excellent communication skills, community engagement experience, and a big vision for AI's potential.

The Founder-in-Residence, CEO opportunity at MVL is designed to match successful entrepreneurs with business ideas with potential to be industry-changing.

Important attributes and skills include:

• Track record of delivering technical products, especially in infrastructure, enterprise, or machine learning
• Outgoing, tech-savvy visionary skilled at engaging technical users
• Strong presentation skills; experience with pitching and fundraising preferred
• Understanding of GenAI technologies, models, frameworks, prompt systems, and agents, with ability to simplify complex concepts for non-technical audiences
• Passion for AI infrastructure and developer experience
• Leadership ability; experience leading and recruiting teams of 10+ members in product, engineering, and go-to-market roles
• Entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable in ambiguity and excited about early-stage development
• Willing to relocate to or be based in Seattle

Additional desirable qualities:

• Previous startup founding or leadership experience
• Experience creating pitch decks and fundraising from venture capital
• Experience with open source products and communities
