As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by conducting regular patrols and remaining highly visible throughout the assigned areas. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents and foster a sense of confidence among staff and visitors. You will interact with a variety of individuals, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to routine situations and supporting emergency protocols when needed. This is a driving post, and you will be responsible for patrolling the premises using a company vehicle as part of your duties. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following protocols relevant to the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings within an aerospace and defense environment, reporting any unusual or suspicious activities promptly.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors as required by the location's protocols.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
