Overview Aunt Ann’s In-House Staffing’s Client Location: San Francisco CA Job Type: Full Time Category: Childcare Position: Travel Savvy Newborn Nanny Needed for Family Based in SF Schedule: 45 hours per week see below for options + flexibility for occasional overtime, date nights, and weekends Salary Amount or Range: $35-$45/hour D.O.E. + standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays) Children: 7-week-old baby Pets: n/a Bay Area Region: San Francisco Description Start date: November 1, 2025 or January 1, 2026 An active family that works intensely, enjoys the outdoors, and travels between homes in SF, Jackson Hole, Arizona, Cape Cod, and NYC is seeking an engaging, supportive and confident nanny to care for their infant son. They are raising their children to be curious, confident, and kind—and are looking for a nanny who can help support that vision. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking a long-term commitment as they are trying for their second child and hope to find a nanny to support them as their family grows. The best person for them is experienced, organized, and nurturing; who truly enjoys life with young children and is ready to become an important part of a home that will deeply value your presence. Familiarity with Montessori methods—or have used similar child-led, respectful care approaches—and bring that mindset to daily routines, play, and learning, as well as experience caring for newborn babies, and knowing how to balance their different needs with calm and confidence. Travel Flexibility and willingness to travel for longer and shorter stints is required. The family will be in NYC for a few days in September, Cape Cod all of October, AZ all of December, and Jackson Hole for most of January. Schedule The family can offer one of the following schedule options + flexibility for occasional overtime, date nights, and some weekends. Option 1 (preferred): Thursday – Monday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Option 2: Monday – Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Experience Requirements 3 years minimum experience working as a private nanny with excellent verifiable references Previous experience working with newborns Educational Requirements Fluency in English Fluency in Spanish (nice to have) Qualifications TB and Tdap CPR Certified Valid driver with clean record (family can provide a household vehicle) Experienced, organized, and nurturing nanny who truly enjoys life with young children and is ready to become an important part of a home that will deeply value your presence Experience caring for newborn babies, and knowing how to balance their different needs with calm and confidence Familiar with Montessori methods—or have used similar child-led, respectful care approaches—and bring that mindset to daily routines, play, and learning Confident in making decisions independently Comfortable communicating ideas, handling feedback, and sharing thoughtful suggestions based on experience Comfortable traveling with the family and / or doing overnights with the baby at the family’s home Seeking longevity as they plan to grow their family and would love someone long-term Responsibilities Engaging baby in age-appropriate developmental activities indoors & outdoors Supporting his daily routine and nap schedule Introducing solids and preparing healthy meals and snacks as he grows Diapering, bathing, and general hygiene Driving baby to specific activities like parks, swimming, and music classes Managing kids’ laundry and keeping kids’ spaces & gear organized and clean Light household support or errands if time allows Apply Now #J-18808-Ljbffr Aunt Ann’s In-House Staffing
