Overview Industrial Engineer, Senior at Booz Allen Hamilton International (U.K.) Ltd. The opportunity involves strategic planning and execution to provide Navy clients with big-picture ideas rooted in technical and data-driven solutions that support military and maritime operations. The Opportunity As an industrial engineer, you'll play an integral role in strategic planning and execution work required to provide our Navy clients with big-picture ideas rooted in technical and data-driven solutions that will help to propel them into the future and ensure military and maritime dominance. Responsibilities You will conduct analyses on supply chains of critical weapon systems to provide optimization recommendations. You will analyze manufacturing processes using a variety of tools and develop and present actionable recommendations for process improvements to optimize throughput. You will collaborate directly with suppliers and the U.S. Navy to implement changes and monitor progress while identifying risks to production schedules and quality. You will support cross-functional teams in this area, performing similar work, and mentor junior employees performing this type of support. You will build relationships with internal and external stakeholders worldwide to improve communication and workflow. You will contribute to acquisition, program management, and logistics expertise and stay aware of policies, guidelines, and procedures required to ensure quality and cost control across a Navy major program office. You Have 5+ years of experience supporting manufacturing and production at a mid- or large-scale defense contractor Knowledge of processes related to weapon system production Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement principles Knowledge of supply chain risk management concepts, including manufacturing and quality management Ability to participate in or lead various integrated product teams (IPTs) Ability to travel to supplier sites up to 30% of the time, with higher tempo near start of employment Secret clearance Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering Nice If You Have 5+ years of experience serving in or supporting the U.S. Navy, including conducting product support manager functions or production support in a USN program office Experience using Python or R Experience with program management of major ACAT programs Knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 standards Master's degree PMP, DAWIA PM, or LCL Level II or III Certification Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Compensation Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
